Become a subscriber and plant some trees!
Each comic subscribed to funds one new tree - with 100% of subscription fees going to tree-planting and reforestation projects around the world.
The project has finished now, but I'm rattling my virtual charity tin until February 5, 2015, so please still donate. I will send everyone who donates a complimentary comic as a "thank you".
TO MAKE YOUR PAYMENT
Please send your subscription via paypal to the account [email protected] If you would like to pay in a different way, please contact me (Sam) at the hotmail address above to make an arrangement.
THE PROJECTS BEING SUPPORTED
To date the following projects have benefitted:
Trees For Cities - planting fruit trees in schools and community spaces in Kibuye, Rwanda - an area where 90% of Tutsis were slaughtered in the war and deforestation is rife. (Project is now complete).
Plant A Billion Trees - restoring 1 million acres in Brazil's Atlantic Rainforest by 2025 through an initiative to plant a billion trees. This is one of the world's most endangered tropical rainforests - only 12% of it remains.
Heiffer International - gifting fruit tree saplings to some of the world's poorest families to allow them to create small, sustainably-farmed orchards for food and a livelihood.
